2019 Annual SES Student Health Design Competition: Behavior Health

The Houston AIA’s Committee on Architecture for Health, hosts an annual professional health and wellness event in Houston focused event in mid-February. The event is known as the Seminar, Exhibit, and Social (SES). It is an opportunity for those in the building design and construction industry (focused on health) to get together and discuss trends and the future of design in health architecture. To expand the event and open it to an emergent audience, we are sponsoring a student design competition utilizing a charrette format.

Please park in the 1111 San Jacinto Garage.– The address of the garage visitor entrance is actually 1210 Lamar ( between Caroline and San Jacinto on the left side of Lamar). The Visitor Entrance is only on Lamar Street.

The garage entrance signage reads “Public Parking”.  You may park in any space that is not reserved. There are two banks of elevators on either side of the garage. Look up and you will see a sign that reads “to 1001 Fannin”. Take one of those elevators. These are on the NW side of the garage. Take  the elevator to level 1 (street level) and walk across the street to our building 1001 Fannin Street – the white 47 story building.  Our office is located on the 40th floor.

Note: If there is Special Event Parking and an attend is taking cash payments do not pay. Tell the attendant you are attending a business meeting in the 1001 Fannin Office Building.
