Please join the Committee on Architecture for Health on a tour of the Texas Medical Center West. You will have the opportunity to tour Methodist West Houston Hospital and Texas Children's Hospital- West Campus in one afternoon.
There are two tours you may choose from:
General Tour - (45 minutes duration each)
1:45 - 2:30 PM Methodist West Houston Hospital tour (1 LU)
2:45 - 3:30 PM Texas Children's Hospital- West Campus tour (1 LU)
Meet at 1:40 in the Methodist conference center to the right after entering the main atrium. Visit Atrium, Lobby, Cafeteria, Cancer Center, Chapel, Departmental Waiting, Sitting presentation and exterior walk. Then walk 5 minutes next-door for the TCH tour at 2:45 to 3:30.
Comprehensive Tour - (90 minutes duration each)
1:00 - 2:30 PM Texas Children's Hospital- West Campus tour (1.5 LU)
2:45 - 4:15 PM Methodist West Houston Hospital tour (1.5 LU)
Meet at 12:50 in the TCH conference room to the left after entering the hospital entrance. Visit all the general tours areas plus: Inpatient Rooms, ICU, IMU, Family Birthing Center, Emergency, surgery Prep/Recovery.The TCH tour starts at 1:00 to 2:30, then walk 5 minutes next-door for the Methodist tour at 2:45- 4:15.
