High-Rise (2015) tells the disconcerting tale of life in a modern tower running out of control. Within the walls of an elegant forty-story building, tenants are headed down a path of destruction. Cocktail parties deteriorate into attacks on “enemy” floors and the once-magnificent amenities become an arena for technological madness. In this visionary tale, human society takes a ferocious turn as the residents of the high rise recreate a world ruled by the laws of the jungle.
