On Bayou Greenway Day, Houstonians are invited to experience the transformation happening along the city's bayous as a result of the Bayou Greenways 2020 project.
This free, day-long event will offer families the chance to walk, bike, run, stroll, play and paddle between park sites along the Brays Bayou Greenway.
The event will have three "hubs," which will feature a variety of fun activities for all ages in a festival-like atmosphere
- Fonde Park
- Spurlock Park and
- Mason Park
Participants can begin at any of these three hubs and explore the greenway and trail that connects them.
A variety of nonprofit and neighborhood organizations, including
-Recipe for Success
-the East End Management District
-The Bayou Preservation Association
-University of Houston student service organizations
-B.O.U.N.C.E.
-Bike Houston
and others are planning activities
