Ben Brewer Award Mixer 2023

Please join us at the Architecture Center Houston from 5-7PM for the annual Ben Brewer Award Mixer in honor of Michelle Old, AIA, recipient of the 2022 Ben Brewer Award for Young Architects.

While attending the College of Architecture at the University of Houston, Michelle began working on the design team at Kirksey Architecture as a design intern over 14 years ago and today is a Lead Designer and an Associate Vice President. Michelle has participated in numerous design opportunites related to architecture as a means of connecting with communities through non-profit organizations and experiences how community can be impacted by design. In 2021 Michelle was honored to be selected to exhibit her work at the American Institute of Architects National Office in Washington, DC. As an architect, artist, speaker, and writer Michelle looks to the future and states aechitecture should influence community and remains eager to paint their vision.     

 
This mixer is hosted by the Emerging Professionals and is open to all young architects, students, and AIA members.
