Berger Iron Works Tour
Following ArCH's 2014 AIA Houston Artisan of the Year Exhibit, Berger Iron Works will be hosting a tour at its facilities on Thursday November 12 from 3:00-4:00 PM (1 hour). You are invited join their team for an insider's experience that will include a tour of their facility and the opportunity to learn about their design processes, tools, and fabrication systems.

Learning Objectives
- Understand the steps required in the process from design drawings to estimating to shop drawing for custom steel fabrication.
- Understand the cost implications of different steel connection systems.
- Understand the cost implications and durability of different finishes.
- Understand the fabrication process of standard metal tooling.
