Join USGBC Texas Gulf Coast Chapter and AIA Committee on the Environment for a tour of Texas’ highest rated LEED Platinum Building: The Treehouse at Memorial City!


Texas’ highest rated  LEED Platinum certified building, The TreeHouse at Memorial City, was designed by Studio Red Architects, and uses multiple sustainable design strategies for energy efficient lighting, water conservation, and efficient power consumption. This green-roofed project uses 50 percent less energy than baseline office buildings for which it has been awarded an innovative technology credit award by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). As well as having the distinction of achieving the highest rated LEED Platinum Core and Shell Building in Texas, it is also the second highest rated project in the Nation.  If that was not enough, it has also just been award LEED Platinum Certification under the Commercial Interiors rating system.  Come join us for a presentation, tour, food and beverages and local organic and natural treats.  Occupancy is limited to the first 100.
