Designed with Taste: Fiora’s Bottle Shop
Tuesday, February 23, 5pm

How does design affect your dining experience? Designed with Taste, an event series from Architecture Center Houston explores Houston’s newest restaurants to examine this question. Hear about the design inspiration for the spaces, and how it interacts with the culinary offerings. Is the food influenced by the design, or is it the other way around? Enjoy lite bites and cocktails, and decide for yourself.

Located in the Montrose Collective, Fiora’s Bottle Shop has a stylish aesthetic, an eclectic selection of sandwiches, and a passion for wine. Channeling the spirit of a backyard garden party with lots of plant life, arched brass shelves, rose gold light fixtures and whimsical wallpaper the interior seats about 40 with more tables available on a two-sided patio.

Join us for a tour of Fiora’s, and a sampling of it’s a fair with partners Natalie Navi, Amir Sed and Caveh Masum, AIA. Navi brings experience from her time as a general manager at Paulie’s while Sed has worked extensively in multiple hospitality concepts in Houston. Sean McNelly, general manager and wine director will take us through a few of Fiora’s wines that cover a range of regions, styles, and production methods.

The evening will begin with a tour of Montrose Collective with Michael Hsu Office of Architecture.
