HXD WEEK 2021: "Lick the Frog" CEU

Join us for "Lick the Frog!" and other creative thinking techniques…

Creativity is inspired when there is a problem to solve. The first time we encounter a problem we craft a solution and try, if that works, we don’t usually explore other options. What if there are more solutions, better ones? Pushing the boundaries and utilizing Creative Thinking methods is a way to develop novel or unorthodox solutions that do not depend wholly on past or current solutions. Although some people might seem more “creative” than others, thinking creatively is a skill that all of us can develop and improved using various techniques and practices.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
Hailey Granetz, Teknion District Manager
Hailey graduated from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture. With over 10 years of experience in the commercial furniture industry, Hailey has worked as a designer at a furniture dealership, in sales for commercial furniture, and most recently as an Architectural Products Manager for a commercial furniture dealership. Hailey moved over to Teknion to take the role of District Manager in July of 2018. Her knowledge of commercial furniture product and her experience working for a dealership and manufacturer allows her to work efficiently and effectively with all parties involved on a project.
