Learn about the people, events and landmarks that have shaped Houston, while Jim sorts out fact from fiction and explores the myths and legends of the region. The presentation will be followed by a short Q&A session.

Jim Parsons, a native of Baytown, puts a passion for Houston's history and architecture to work as director of special projects and walking tours chairman for Preservation Houston. With David Bush, he is the co-author of three books on Texas’ Art Deco art and architecture and is at work on a fourth, Dallas-Fort Worth Deco, to be published in Spring 2017 by TCU Press.
