How I See It: Houston Architecture is a look at our city through the eyes of the generation raised in the age of social media and digital cameras. Platforms like Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram have changed the definition of community and place and digital cameras are carried by almost everyone. How we look at our world and how we choose to capture it with pictures is evolving rapidly. Local high school students working in any photographic medium were invited to submit to this juried exhibition. An architectural photography workshop led by Joe Aker at Architecture Center Houston was held in October to kick-off the competition.

Featured Students: Martin Almazan, Raul Andino, Selim Baysal, Collette Bucher, Karina Cervantes, Sahari Chan, Alejandro Chavez, Macala Elliott, Odalis Espinoza, Guadalupe Estrada, Juan Garcia, Catherine Harrison, Holly Kim, Francisco Lopez, Victorino Madrigal, Jonathan Martinez, Martin Noyola, Emanuel Paredes, Catalina Parra, Laila Sameer, Cynthia Schramm, Dahee Song, Alexis Toledo, Juan Villatoto, Gracey Wallace, Jeffrey Wang, Madison Jean Whiteside, Darius Zacharakis
