Rice Design Alliance Announces Portuguese Firm Fala Atelier as the 2020 Spotlight Award Recipient

Rice Design Alliance announces Portuguese firm Fala Atelier as the 2020 Spotlight Award recipient. The award recognizes the work of exceptionally gifted national and international architects in the early stages of their professional career who have demonstrated design excellence and curiosity through their body of work. The Spotlight Award selection committee 2020 included John J. Casbarian, Lonnie Hoogeboom, Carlos Jiménez, Rafael Longoria, Amelyn Ng, Michael Kubo, and Maria Nicanor.

As part of the award, all three Fala Atelier principals, Filipe Magalhães, Ana Luisa Soares, and Ahmed Belkhodja, will present the annual Spotlight Lecture at the Brown Auditorium at The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, on Wednesday, February 19 at 6:00 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
