Texas Accessibility Seminar: Visually Explained

This course will explain differences and similarities between TAS and the ADA.  Key design concepts will be discussed.  Case studies will identify common errors and omissions.  Major change in the 2012 TAS will be listed.

This course meets the state of Texas – Barrier Free requirements.

Objectives:

Identify major changes in the new standards.
Properly apply specific exceptions for accessible facilities.
Describe the difference between the ADA law and the Texas Accessibility Standards.
Locate resources.
