Texas Accessibility: Tips, Tricks, and TABS, presented by Meghan Broussard Simecek, Texas Accessibility Group

Course participants will gain a better understanding of how to use Texas Architectural Barriers System (TABS), a better understanding of how to work closely with a RAS, and a better understanding of how to design and execute better barrier free projects.

  • Learning Obj 1: Learn the steps in submitting a project to a RAS
  • Learning Obj 2: Identify common mistakes in barrier-free projects
  • Learning Obj 3: Learn to how to avoid making common mistakes during the design process
  • Learning Obj 4: Identify and correct common misconceptions about the Texas Accessibility Standards

Meets State of Texas Barrier-Free Design Standards

 

A boxed lunch and beverage will be included with registration.  Parking is not included.
