Updates to the Harris County Building Code - March

This class will discuss the 2012 Harris County Build Code and Fire Code amendments that are in affect March 1, 2015 and how they impact architects and their designs. The class will explain the significant additions and subtractions that occurred during the 2012 code cycles of the International Building Code and International Fire Code. Major changes to high-rise buildings, egress width calculations, exit path markings, and fire service access as well as occupant evacuation elevators are just a few of the more important changes that took place. This is the first occurrence of this class in Spring 2015.
