WiA September Happy Hour & Hurricane Harvey Relief Drive

Join WiA Houston for our rescheduled Happy Hour at Brooklyn Athletic Club this Thursday, September 14th from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM.

The happy hour will serve as a donation drive for Houston Area Women's Center to assist with Hurricane Harvey Relief. The items they are in need of are as follows:

MOST IN NEED - $10-$20 gift cards to:
Kroger
HEB
WalMart
Target

Full sized toiletries:
Shampoo/Conditioner
Soap/Body Wash
Deoderant
Toothpaste/Toothbrushes
Feminine pads

New clothing (all sizes):
Yoga pants
T-shirts
Sports bras
Socks

Additionally, this event will help bring all of our members together to determine some of the other ways we can look to further serve our community during the weeks and months after the devastation of Hurricane Harvey.

We would still like this event to serve as an opportunity to see many students from our local architecture programs before the semester gets underway to get them involved in our organization and upcoming programming. Come hang out with some of the amazing women (and men) in architecture and allied fields in and around Houston!
