As a Small Business I provided services in code evaluation, planning, design, site planning, construction documents, estimating, specifications, submittals, and jobsite supervision for architectural firms throughout Texas from 1982 to 1991; working in Dallas, Corpus Christi, and Alice. I have experience on national and international facilities, being familiar with Fireproofing of Steel Structures, Fire Sprinkler Systems; including Wet pipe, Dry pipe, and AFFF fire suppression systems, Fire Alarm Systems; including Radio Transmitter Modules, Security Systems; including Radio Transmitter Modules, and Video Camera Surveillance, Gas fired Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, major HVAC Systems; with Direct Digital Controls and Variable Air Volume Terminal Units, Hot Water Circulating Systems tied through Heat Exchangers to Chilled Water Systems, including Cathodic Protection of underground piping; including sacrificial anode and standard line cathodic protection rectifiers,  Corrosion Control facilities for painting, Computer Floors and Clean Rooms.

I also have extensive industrial and petrochemical experience including being familiar with Motor Control Centers, Electrical Raceways and Cabletrays, Pumps, Valves, “Knock” and Oil Refining Laboratories, and piping, above and below ground.

My Industrial /Petrochemical background includes working in 75’ at Saber Refinery (currently Valero Refining Company) as a pumper/tester, in the Laboratory, and as an Assistant Crude Unit Operator. Years later I had the opportunity to work with two Engineering Firms; Bath & Associates, Inc. and BHP Engineering & Construction, both located in Corpus Christi, Texas. While with these firms I worked on projects for Union Carbide (currently Dow) in Seadrift, Badishe in Freeport, Henkel (currently Aqualon) in Kennedy, Celenese in Bishop, Reynolds Aluminum Corporation in Ingleside, The Port of Corpus Christi, and the following refineries; Southwestern, Gulf States, Citco Petroleum Corp., Coastal Corp., and PPG (currently Oxychem) all within Texas.

I have worked in construction on the following projects:

•Quality Control Inspector for McDevitt and Street; a General Contractor from North Carolina.

Constructing Charter Hospital, an alcohol and drug rehabilitation hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas completed 1989 for $5 M.

•Contractor Quality Control Representative for Michelle Enterprises, Inc.; a General Contractor from Shermann Texas constructing the Corrosion Control Facility (Painting and Plastic Media Blasting Facility) for the U. S. Navy’s T-45 training aircraft at Naval Air Station Kingsville, Texas, completed 12/94 for $6.8 M.

•Quality Control Manager for K-W Construction, Inc.; a General Contractor from San Marcos, Texas

Constructing the BEQ Improvements (Part A), Repair BEQ (Part B), and Provide Boiler (Part C) for the U. S. Navy’s Bachelor Enlisted Quarters at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, Texas, completed 9/95 for $3.9M.

•Quality Control Manager for Natkin Service Company; a Mechanical Contractor/General Contractor from the Corpus Christi, Texas branch office constructing the Repair Air Conditioning Systems, Building 10 for $61,212.00; Repair HVAC System, Mezzanine 33, Building 8, CCAD for $155,974.00; Repair Chiller and Various Air Handing Units, Building 8, CCAD $339,301.00; Repair Air Handlers and Ductwork, Building H - 100, Naval Hospital $1,249,450.00 (while building was occupied); all at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, Texas, all completed approximately at the end of 95’or early 96’. In the same time frame we were working as a sub-contractor under Fulton Construction Company from Corpus Christi, Texas, constructing the mechanical systems in the Central Kitchen Facilities for the Corpus Christi Independent School District at a cost of $476,706.00.

•Quality Control Representative for Braselton Construction Company; a General Contractor from Corpus Christi, Texas constructing the Air Operations Building (Control Tower and Operations Facility) for the U. S. Navy at Naval Air Station Kingsville, Texas, completed 8/97 for $2,393,496.00.


Worked on Multi-Family projects throughout the United States, from Garden to “Podium Style” Apartments, Mid and High Rise Condominiums while in the Houston Texas area, since 1998.
