Scientia Architects is a women-owned architectural full-service firm specialize exclusively in the programming and design of laboratory facilities. Our mission is to enhance the advancement of scientific discovery through our extensive knowledge of trends, issues and best practices that shape the laboratory workplace and science learning environments. 

At Scientia Architects we are committed to provide excellent client service to deliver durable, positive and healthy programs and design that maximizes resources to their full potential for our clients and our planet. Our process is to partner with you to identify issues, gather information, learn your business, and challenge norms, all with open communication.  We serve four primary markets in design for science – academic, life science, clinical, and R&D with programming and planning services for any size project and full architectural services for small projects. 

We offer a hands own approach with our nimble structure of a small firm. We work very closely with clients paying close attention to detail and thorough documentation of equipment, casework and utility requirements so critical to your users while integrating scientific workplace design principles of daylight, collaboration, choice, technology and creating good places to work.

The two founding partners worked together for six years at a prior firm and bring a total combined experience of over 3 million square feet of laboratory building projects. Scientia Architects, PLLC is a Houston based woman owned business currently pursuing State of Texas Historically Underutilized Business (HUB).
