Architectural Intern

The Architectural Intern primary responsibility is to compose, and support the production of construction documents. Frankel Building Group is looking for an Intern Architect capable of applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, building codes, and construction procedures to all projects.


Produce construction documents using Revit.

Assist with plan submittals for ACC/ARC/HOA approval and/or city/county permitting authorities.

Assist Architectural Design Coordinator in the Takeoff/Bidding process.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure budgeting for specification production, and coordinate scheduling and production of project specifications.

Function as a technical resource for material and product evaluations and selections.

Maintain proficiency in construction products, techniques and sequences by staying abreast of product developments, new materials, code changes, and current industry trends.

Prepare Revit site plans for Architectural Project Manager by compiling surveys/elevation certificates, FEMA maps, soils reports, deed restrictions, and permitting requirements.

Prepare electrical layouts for review by Architectural Project Manager.

Manage multiple projects and deadlines – phases, milestone deliveries and various project delivery types.

Review in-progress drawings, ensuring complete and coordinated technical specifications and offering modifications and improvements when appropriate.


Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field (Architecture preferred).

Demonstrate computer skills including knowledge of Autodesk Revit/AutoCAD

Knowledgeable to create and manipulate Macros in Revit is a plus.
