Educational Planning Coordinator

PBK is in search of a Educational Planning Coordinator to join our Houston Team. The Educational Planning Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the production of Long-Range Facilities Master Plans. The Educational Planning Coordinator can work in all phases and subcomponents of a Long-Range Facilities Master Plan project, including Facilities Assessments, Capacity Studies, Educational Specifications, Technical Design Guidelines, Site Test Fits/Analyses, and Major Project Development. The Educational Planning Coordinator will report to the Director of Facility & Bond Planning.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

-Assist project manager during all phases of Long-Range Facility Planning.
-Prepare architectural floor plans in AutoCAD or Revit for usage with Capacity Studies.
-Draw graphic vignettes in AutoCAD or Revit for inclusion in Educational Specifications.
-Coordinate the preparation of Long-Range Facilities Master Plan deliverables with internal team members, consultants, and client.
-Assemble Long-Range Facilities Master Plans, Educational Specifications, and Technical Design Guidelines in InDesign.
-Compile data for Capacity Studies and Facility Assessments in various platforms


-Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field required.
-1-3 years of professional experience preferred.
-Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
-Must demonstrate proficiency in using either AutoCAD or Revit Architecture.
-Must demonstrate proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite.
-Strong customer service skills.
-Strong organizational skills.
-Creativity, integrity, and initiative.
-Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-A strong desire to excel and advance in a fast paced, challenging and client focused environment.
