The right fit candidate will exhibit understanding of the studios design philosophy by providing support and leadership in both project design and management. We are looking for an Experienced Designer that demonstrates an exceptionally high level of design skill in both Residential and Commercial design projects.


Key Responsibilities:

Provided both project and In-House design studio support and leadership as applicable. Manage 3 new projects every 3-4 months and meets weekly with the Project Advisor and Creative Director to collaborate design, inspiration and schematics developing into a design plan and program. Will meet periodically with Project Advisor and Project Coordinator to ensure project goals and contractual agreements are being met.
I. Design studio support - Create preliminary project schedules for all studio projects, provides office administrative support where needed, contributes to office/team building activities, initiatives and learning programs
II. Project Management – Must set and achieve deadlines, provide professional interaction with the design team, while managing time constraints and expectations from Project Administrators and Management. Will be required to coordinate efficiently and professionally with the outside vendors. Must work with efficiently with the design team by managing budgets, schedules, client services and project delivery.
III. Client Services – Designer must attend, coordinate and manage client meetings and site meetings to communicate and act as a liaison between the CID Team, outside vendors and the client. Will provide the client with project binder consisting of design revisions, working drawings, concepts, project time lines, both FFE and client schedules, and budget sheets, to assist with effective communication and compliance of design agreement.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Architecture / Interior Design / or a related field
• High level of proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Working knowledge of Adobe Suite, Excel and MS Word
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of current building codes, including ADA requirements
• Minimum three to five years experience in luxury interior design

Licensed Architect is a plus!
