Interior Designer/Architect – Emphasis on providing Architectural Rep./Landlord Services for offic

S. Tipton Studio, an Austin based interior design studio, is seeking an Interior Designer or Architect to join our landlord service corporate design team. As a collaborative studio that actively engages our clients in the design process we deliver spaces that impact. In the studio we are committed to creating a positive atmosphere where each team member is supported, growing professionally and able to serve our clients with creativity and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

A strong candidate will have several years of experience designing corporate tenant finish-out projects and providing Architectural Rep./Landlord Services for office building owners and property managers. Daily tasks would include providing test fit floor plans, preliminary pricing sets and construction documents and performing BOMA SF calculations. A strong understanding of tenant development needs and the capacity to manage multiple projects through the tenant development process is required.

Qualifications

Additional qualifications include:

Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a CIDA-accredited university

4-12 years working in commercial interior design (role opportunity and salary varies with level of experience)

Proficient in AutoCAD. Proficiency in Revit is a plus.

Strong conceptual and schematic design skills

Possess a strong work ethic with great attention to detail

Strong verbal and written communication skills
