The Architectural Intern’s primary responsibility is to compose, and support the production of design and construction documents.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure budgeting for specification production, and coordinate scheduling and production of project specifications.
Maintain proficiency in construction products, techniques and sequences by staying abreast of product developments, new materials, code changes, and current industry trends.
Prepare Revit site plans for Architectural Project Manager by compiling surveys/elevation certificates, FEMA maps, soils reports, deed restrictions, and permitting requirements.
Prepare electrical layouts for review by Architectural Project Manager.
Submit plans for ACC/ARC/HOA approval and/or city/county permitting authorities.
Assist Architectural Project Manager and Purchasing Manager in the Takeoff/Bidding process.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines – phases, milestone deliveries and various project delivery types.
Review in-progress drawings, ensuring complete and coordinated technical specifications and offering modifications and improvements when appropriate.
Bachelor's Degree (or will graduate soon)
Demonstrate computer skills including knowledge of Autodesk Revit/AutoCAD
