Project Architect

Description – Maxx Designers is looking for a highly motivated and creative Architectural Designer who is ready to join our design team. This individual will be responsible for producing high quality project design deliverables in construction documents. This individual will work on any/all phases of development including Pre-Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction Administration. This individual will report to the Director/Principal/Associate Principal on tasks and deliverables work with them to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget constraints in accordance Maxx Designers quality and client service standards.


-Generate new concepts and create fresh project ideas to meet client requirements.
-Produce high-quality visuals for presentations, such as renderings and animations.
-Create design concepts and continue the development through all design phases (SD/DD/CD).
-Plan layout of projects by reading surveys of the lot and building shape, documenting geometric details, and applying basic MEP (mechanic, electric, plumbing, and sprinkler) information, etc.
-Ensure code and accessibility compliance utilizing several competing and often conflicting building, life safety, health, and accessibility codes.
- Write/edit owner-provided architectural specifications specific to each project.
-Coordination with Electrical contractors, General contractors, Engineering companies, and Clients for necessary inputs
-Direct and coordinate with the engineering disciplines and third-party equipment vendors, reviewing construction documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines.


-3 to 10+ years of experience
-Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture is required
-Licensed Architect and NCARB or certified Planner preferred.
-Strong knowledge of commercial buildings design considerations and trends
.-Must demonstrate proficiency in using Revit, & CAD
