Project Manager / Project Architect – Multifamily

Brownstone Architects & Planners, Inc, is seeking a well-qualified Project Manager / Project Architect with the ability to take a schematic design and lead the development of plans and specifications. Brownstone Architects is part of the Brownstone Group, a family run business that develops, designs, constructs and manages multifamily projects throughout Texas, Louisiana and the southeast.

Responsibilities

Assist with project pursuits and schematic design activities.
Organizing and lead the creation of construction project documents.
Manage and coordinate a team of disciplines and consultants.
Forecast and identify key project issues and assist in issues resolution in a timely manner.
Strong architectural understanding and detailing skills.
Proficient in construction administrative processes.
Work with governing authorities on obtaining building permits documenting code review and approvals.

Qualifications

5+ years of multifamily project experience.
Self-directed with clear and succinct communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks and adjust work accordingly, often against fast deadlines.
Ability to produce projects with Developer/Contractor relationships, budget, schedule, code and jurisdictional requirements.
Understanding of construction processes and methods and how it impacts the project.
Experience in construction observation and on-site assistance.
Proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT (We actively use both).
Active RA license; LEED Accreditation preferred.
