Project Manager

We are seeking a professional project architect with 7+ years work experience, related to hospitality and multi-family residential projects, to participate in all aspects of project development. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth and career advancement at a well-established architectural firm with 50 years of history in Hospitality design and over 20 years in multifamily design.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the status and quality of project deliverables and developing project documents at all stages of design and should be able to engage in construction administration activities.
• Oversee multiple projects from start to finish, during Design development, Construction document and Construction administration phases.
• Perform building code analysis
• Prepare and create drawings that adhere to established office standards
• Work well with the firm’s leadership
• Coordinate with Client, external design consultants and internal team
• Create project schedules and manage team to ensure deadlines are met
• Ensure project follows client and/or brand standards, project schedules and value engineering
• Oversee support staff to ensure work is executed accurately
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with management, clients, consultants and contractors and team members

• Visit with city officials and clients as necessary
• Ability to prioritize and deliver multiple projects with varying deadlines
• Review shop drawings, project submittals, etc. for document compliance
Qualifications

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7+ years professional experience in hospitality and/or multifamily architecture
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture or in a related field (construction or engineering)
• Strong work ethic
• Knowledge of Building Codes and Accessibility requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2016 or higher
• Proficiency in Sketch-Up or other 3D rendering software a plus
• Proficiency in Revit a plus
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Positive attitude and self-motivated
