AMB Architects named to Inc. Magazine's Best Workplaces of 2020 list

Work. While for many the word embodies the tedium of the movie Office Space, everyone at AMB Architects is pretty jazzed about what we do. So much so that we were named to Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces of 2020 list!

More than 3,000 companies applied and only SIX Houston employers made the list. The award highlights private American companies that offer spirited work cultures, deep employee engagement, and superior employee benefits. Check, check, and check. Yep, all of us here at AMB think this really is one of the best workplaces in the U.S.

This year’s list singled out a total of 395 finalists, with fewer than 13 percent of applicants making the cut. Inc. surveyed employees on topics regarding trust, management effectiveness, benefits, and confidence in future growth, to better understand how employees felt about their employer. Inc. then gathered the data and ranked all the employers using a composite score of the results.

“The companies on Inc.’s Best Workplaces list are setting an example that the whole country can learn from, especially now, when company culture is more important to the workforce than ever,” says Inc. magazine Editor-in-Chief, Scott Omelianuk.
