Brookstone's Samantha Hutchison Elected Chairman of the Construction Financial Management Association

The Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) is pleased to announce the election of Samantha M. Hutchison, CCIFP, as its 2017-18 Executive Chairman.
“I am honored to represent CFMA as Chairman this year,” says Ms. Hutchison. “Along with the other officers, I am committed to providing outstanding leadership for CFMA as we continue to grow by delivering exceptional value for our members and stakeholders. I believe in CFMA as the foundation for success for our membership, and look forward to giving back to the association and to the industry as Chairman.”

Ms. Hutchison is the Chief Financial Officer for Brookstone, L.P., a commercial GC in Houston, TX. Prior to joining Brookstone in 1998, Samantha worked for Texas Commerce Bank (now JPMorgan Chase). A member of CFMA since 1999, Samantha previously served as CFMA’s Vice Chairman and was also Vice Chairman of the Finance Committee and a member of the Investment Subcommittee. Samantha served a two-year term on CFMA’s Executive Committee and was a member of its Peer Group and Governance Task Forces, as well as the Chapter Resource Committee and Conference Planning Task Force. Locally, Samantha is a member of the Houston Chapter where she served as an officer and director and currently serves on the Programs Committee. She is an alumnus of both CFMA’s National Mentoring Program and CFMA at Spring Creek. Samantha is a CPA and graduate of Texas A&M University.
