Clark Condon Associates Introduces New Team Member, Violet Mak, RLA
Houston, January 2013 – Clark Condon Associates is proud to introduce a new member of our staff:
Violet Mak, RLA – Violet spent time in various parts of the Country growing up — Illinois, California, New York. She graduated with Honors from Cornell University where she received a Bachelor Degree in Landscape Architecture. She is passionate about creating spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but are functional and relevant to the individuals they serve. Violet brings more than 9 years of experience to our team. Having lived and worked in different regions, she has gained a broad range of industry knowledge. Part of her background comes from the design-build arena, which offers her a strong understanding of materials and construction practices. In recent years she has developed a strong interest in low impact development and sustainable design. Violet is a Registered Landscape Architect in Texas and also as a Registered Accessibility Specialist her work is attuned to accommodate all users under TDLR standards. In addition to some public parks, Violet has been busy working on corporate campuses and some commercial retail developments. Violet has a very collaborative nature and values teamwork.
“Being part of a team is having willingness to accept the baton when it is passed to you; knowing when to pass it off to another and understanding that while we each play a key role in the final outcome, we can do more together than individually,” Mak commented.
