DLR Group Houston adds project manager Chris Royster, AIA

The new DLR Group Houston office is adding project staff. Chris Royster, AIA, joins the firm as Project Manager and Senior Associate. In this role, he will manage the design and delivery of commercial and developer-led projects. Current clients include a confidential Fortune 500 financial institution, CA Technologies, Aviation Technical Services, and the Houston Independent School District.

Over the last 20 years, Royster has become an expert in large-scale commercial real estate projects. His project approach incorporates integrated design methods that include systematic, comprehensive studies on the environment, building materials, and human interaction within the planned development. He is proficient at quickly producing concepts for master planning and feasibility studies, as well as translating these concepts into fruition.

“Chris’ strong background in commercial real estate design and his ability to take a holistic, integrated design approach to projects is valuable to our clients and the entire Houston Workplace Studio. Royster has designed and master planned more than 1.6 million square feet of commercial and corporate office space over seven campuses. He is involved in several professional organizations including, the American Institute of Architects Houston Chapter, the Rice Design Alliance, and the Association of Commercial Real Estate Professionals.
