Dillon Kyle Architects to be first company in Houston to receive equity-based JUST Label

10/01/2020

Dillon Kyle Architects is excited to announce their participation in the voluntary disclosure program known as JUST, and is proud to soon be the first JUST organization within the city of Houston.

The JUST Label is a social transparency platform managed by the International living Future Institute (ILFI), an organization that manages the Living Building Challenge – arguably one of the most rigorous building certifications in the architecture industry. The JUST program aids organizations in optimizing their policies in social equity and employee engagement through the achievement of the following goals:

  • To elevate the discussion around social justice in all organizations;
  • To create a common language for social justice issues;
  • To elevate the causes of those individuals who lead these issues;
  • To change the policies and practices of thousands of organizations worldwide;
  • To make life better for people from all walks of life.

DKA’s participation in JUST is an extension of their commitment to positive community impact through thoughtfully executed design. In support of corporate transparency, DKA will hold an annual audit of their data in order to monitor the company’s continual improvement in social equity.
