Hospitality Design Leader Gail McCleese Joins Gensler Houston

Gensler announced today that it has added hospitality design specialist Gail McCleese to its Houston team. Gail will work with the Gensler team to create innovative designs for emerging and established brands.

“Gail is a highly respected professional in the Interior Design industry and she will be a terrific addition to our Houston team,” said Gensler Managing Director Gerald Gehm. “She has had her own successful practice in Houston for many years and she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to us.”

Prior to joining Gensler, Gail served as the principal of studioDW, a design firm with project experience in the United States and Internationally.

Gail has more than 20 years of experience in creating unique design concepts for exclusive restaurants, four and five-star hotels and resorts, casinos and senior living environments.

Some of her most notable clients include: Hilton Hotels, Omni Hotels, Hyatt Hotels, Embassy Suites Hotels, Doubletree Hotels, Landry’s Development, Golden Nugget, Peninsula Gaming, Grand Casino Coushatta, Westmont Hospitality, InterContinental Hotels Group, Classic Residence by Hyatt, BPM Senior Living and Real Mex Restaurants.

Gail graduated with honors from the Art Institute of Houston and is an active member of American Society of Interior Designers. She has also served as Executive Vice President and Membership Chairperson of the Houston chapter of Network of Executive Women in Hospitality (NEWH).
