Kirksey Architecture adds three VPs and promotes 19 staff

12/12/2017 | Kirksey Architecture

Kirksey Architecture is proud to announce the promotion of three new Vice Presidents (as part of the firm’s ownership) and 19 staff members. Expanding Kirksey’s ownership capitalizes on the proven strengths of our firm, and our greatest resource — our people. We are proud to announce the following promotions:

-- David Dalton, AIA
Promoted to Vice President / Owner
Interiors Team / Sr. Project Manager
David joined Kirksey in 2008 as a member of Kirksey’s Interior Team and quickly garnered the attention of corporate interior clients and staff. As a senior project manager, he has worked on some of the most high-profile corporate projects in Houston including Noble Energy, Blank Rome, and Bracewell. His ability to creatively merge both interior design with architecture leverages a unique perspective for his clients, and David has successfully created a strong network in the real estate and AEC community. David serves as an Advisory Trustee on the Texas Architect’s Committee for Government Affairs and graduated with a Bachelors of Architecture from the University of Houston.

-- Russell Wooten, AIA
Promoted to Vice President / Owner
Director of Project Delivery
With more than 17 years of experience, Russell joined Kirksey in 2004 as a member of the Commercial Team, leading complex projects such as the Enclave Campus before serving as Kirksey’s Director of Project Delivery. As such, he oversees Kirksey’s project delivery processes for all projects. His detail-oriented approach to problem solving is a valuable asset that helped lead to the creation of Kirksey’s proprietary Project Delivery Manual — a guide to apply and document Kirksey’s best practices to every project. This streamlined approach provides more consistency across all projects within the firm. His ability to research and integrate the latest technology into Kirksey’s practice is essential in today’s advancing world. Part of an AIA BIM award-winning project for Satterfield & Pontikes, Russell is relentless in taking on new challenges to resolve and always strives to deliver stellar results.

-- Scott Tibiletti, AIA
Promoted to Vice President / Owner
Hospitality Team / Sr. Project Manager
Scott joined Kirksey in 2000 as a member of the firm’s Hospitality Team and has expertly managed large-scale projects – from mixed-use developments to high-rise residential towers. Scott’s outstanding project management and strong communication skills helped him rise within the firm ranks in his 17 years at Kirksey. He has managed more than $1.1 billion worth of projects during his tenure at Kirksey, and his promotion to Vice President is reflective of his drive for success and excellent client service.
