Meeks + Partners Announces Internal Promotions

Houston, TX – January 23, 2013 – Meeks + Partners is pleased to announce the promotion of Keith Malone, AIA, LEED and Ryan Meeks, AIA, LEED, to partners in the firm. Keith Malone started working part time while in high school and through college at M+P while earning his Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University. He also received his Master of Architecture from Texas A&M in 2002 at which point he joined the company full time. In 2008 after exhibiting strong design skills and adept technical qualifications, Keith was promoted to Associate Partner. He oversees projects from schematic design through construction administration of varying sizes and complexities for both local and national project sites. These include multifamily, mixed-use, high density urban infills, student and senior housing. In addition, he oversees the CAD administration and supervises the technical implementation of Meeks + Partners’ design standards. Keith also leads the M+P Green Studio which assists projects in acquiring U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED certification. A native Houstonian, Keith resides in Cypress with his wife, Angela and three children.

Ryan Meeks received his Bachelor of Arts in Marketing with a minor in Art from the University of Iowa in 2003. He then received his Master in Architecture from The University of Texas at which point he joined M+P in 2006. He has taken his time thus far to work in all phases of the business from land planning and design, to project management, knowing how important it is for each of these aspects of a project to integrate seamlessly. His work spans projects in student, senior, high density mixed-use as well as other multifamily structures. In addition to his design and project management duties, Ryan leads the MP Studio furniture division and works on the M+P Green Studio design team. Ryan resides in Houston with his wife Stephanie and two children.
