Ellen Lighting and Hardware, an upscale retail, office and distribution space designed by Three Square Design Group and built by DMAC Construction & Development, has won a prestigious Tilt Up Concrete Association Achievement Award. The Tilt Up Concrete Association (TCA) is the international trade association representing the practice of tilt-up construction.

In Stafford, Texas, the high-end Ellen Lighting is a more than 100,000 s.f. facility that includes a showroom and retail component, showcasing the supplier’s light fixtures and hardware. The space also includes an office and sizable distribution center.

The lighting supplier's facility is concrete tilt wall with glass curtain wall, form liner wood pattern panels, with a dramatic two-story portal entry clad with Arriscraft tile. The open lobby includes the owner's own top-of-the-line light fixtures, a coffee bar and a floating staircase with solid wood treads and steel cable handrails.
Phase I of the Ellen Lighting design incorporated all components for a Phase II expansion, which would mean 250,000 total square feet on the 14-acre property. The structural engineering was done by Pinnacle, and civil engineering by ATR.
