HOK announces the selection of Yvonne Nagy as the firm’s regional healthcare leader. She returns to HOK where she was previously a senior associate and project manager, and brings more than 15 years of experience including a concentration of projects within the healthcare industry. As HOK’s Gulf Coast regional healthcare leader, Nagy will lead a team of professionals using leadership and mentorship skills she has developed throughout the course of her career. In addition to the high quality of her work and proven track record, Nagy promotes the professional growth and development of her co-workers, making her a natural fit for the position. Prior to returning to HOK, Nagy was a project manager with another firm where she worked with several high profile clients, including University of Texas Health, Memorial Hermann Health System, Texas Children’s Hospital and the Michael E. De Bakey VA Medical Center. During this time, she successfully lead her team in the expansion, renovation or replacement of these hospitals. Nagy received her master’s degree in architecture from the University of Houston, and her bachelor of science in psychology from the University of Arizona. She is a registered architect in the state of Texas and a LEED-accredited professional. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Texas Society of Architects. Nagy is also actively involved within her community, serving as a member of the YMCA “Togetherhood” Committee, World Affairs Council, and Kenyan Way Running Club. She is also a PA Nepal fundraiser and advocate. Jay Tatum, managing principal for HOK’s Texas practices said, “We’re so pleased to have Yvonne back on the team. The experience she’s acquired through the course of her career, and especially within the healthcare industry, is indicative of her strong leadership skills and gives her an invaluable perspective that will benefit our team and our clients.”
