PCG Expands Management Team, adds Vice-President of Project Management

PCG experienced record growth during 2014. In order to meet market demands, PCG expanded its core management team, adding Vivian Peng, who joins the firm as Vice- President of Project Management.

Peng comes to PCG from PBK, where she was Sr. Designer for K-12 projects, as well as higher education and hospitality projects. There she learned the skill of client engagement to achieve their project vision. Peng also served in a hands-on role for a small Houston firm, where she worked on projects through every phase - from planning and design through construction administration.

Given Peng’s background, she will be an immediate asset for PCG clients. PCG President Jing Johnson anticipates the addition of Peng to the team will continue to strengthen the trust of PCG’s clients. “Vivian understands what it’s like to be in the architect’s driver seat, so she knows very well their expectations and the ongoing pressure they face from their clients. This is where PCG really becomes an extension to our clients’ teams, when we take on their pressures as our own,” Johnson says. “Vivian knows how to produce a beautiful rendering for discerning clients, but she also understands that project schedules have a larger impact.”

Peng grew up in China and studied architecture there at the top Chinese university, Tsinghua University, the Asian equivalent of Harvard. She then moved to the U.S. with her husband to practice architecture and start a family. When she is not balancing project demands at PCG, Peng stays centered through avid yoga practice, and time with her two young children.
