Heather Van Ravenswaay, interior designer, has been named Associate Principal at PDR. Her skills encompass the full scope of PDR’s design services from programming to specification and documentation. During her 10 years with the firm, she has worked with leading global corporations including ConocoPhillips, British Gas, and Sysco. Combining her in-depth knowledge of process and products, Heather helps to provide clients with functional workplace environments.

“Heather understands the integrated nature of PDR’s approach to workplace,” said Lauri Goodman Lampson, PDR president. “Thinking holistically, she transforms the insights gained in the early strategy sessions to smart design solutions that are tailored to the needs of the client organization. Whether she is dealing with an individual worker or the procurement department, Heather works from her client’s perspective to find the optimum answer.”
For Heather, design acts a powerful tool to connect strategy and research with implementation. “Recognizing the importance of a fully integrated process, we are further developing our furniture practice to better help our clients understand their options and make informed decisions,” said Heather. “Furniture is a big budget item on large-scale projects and procurement departments want an analysis of costs and choices. It’s all part of PDR’s bigger picture of a more effective, productive workplace.

Heather, a Texas registered interior designer, graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science in Design. She holds a certification from the National Council for Interior Design Qualification.
