Perkins+Will’s Filo Castore, AIA selected as the 2013 Publications Chair for Texas Architect

Houston, Texas – Perkins+Will, a global leader in sustainable architecture and design, is pleased to announce that Filo Castore, AIA - Corporate+Commercial+Civic leader for the Houston practice, has been selected as the new 2013 Publications Chair for Texas Architect.

Since its founding in 1950, Texas Architect, Texas Society of Architects bi-monthly periodical, has remained one of the nation’s largest and most respected architectural publications that promote the creation of safe, beautiful and sustainable environments. Filo’s role will be to assist the Texas Architect staff in strategic planning, formulation of goals and direction for the Society’s publications.

Filo has been a part of the Publication Committee since 2007 and will be an asset to the Texas Society of Architects by offering extensive knowledge from his innovative work processes that are synergistic and collaborative.

Filo is a tireless advocate for sustainable design and is deeply involved in local, regional and national architectural communities, including leadership roles shaping sustainable policies. His accomplishments demonstrate his intent and commitment to making a positive impact on our built environment and the future of the community.
