VLK Architects Assists Four School Districts with Bond Planning

Weatherford Independent School District’s $107.3 million bond election would focus on secured vestibules for the District’s campuses, capital improvements and technology upgrades. It is the first bond election called in the District since 1999. Corsicana Independent School District’s $54 million bond election would provide funding for a new seventh and eighth grade middle school campus, as well as safety and technology upgrades to each of the District’s campuses. Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District’s Board of Trustees voted to hold a bond election with two propositions. Proposition I, in the amount of $177.69 million, would provide for three new elementary school campuses and additional construction. At $89.85 million, Proposition II would focus on major maintenance and renovation items in the District, as identified in the Facilities Condition Assessments. Clear Creek Independent School District’s bond for $267 million would help improve existing schools and replace life safety items on campuses throughout the District.

These districts have relied on VLK’s data-driven process with their facility condition assessments, recommendations and bond planning services, in order to assist them in calling their bond elections. Our work speaks for itself; when considering your next bond election, you can rely on the professionals at VLK Architects to deliver a well-thought-out, sound bond plan.
