On Thursday, June 11th, VLK Architects hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony, in coordination with the Cy-Fair Chamber of Commerce, celebrating their new office located at 20445 State Hwy 249, Suite 350. As the Houston market continues to boom with unprecedented growth, school districts have begun to respond to challenges related to surging enrollment in recent years. As a result, VLK has experienced rapid growth in its staff which prompted the move to their new location in the Chasewood Technology Park.

“When we opened the doors to our Houston office in 2000, we had one vision for our firm…put the clients’ vision above all else.” said Todd Lien, VLK Principal. “Our successful growth is attributed to building a talented team of architects who have a passion for putting client’s needs first.”

VLK Architects currently works with Houston area school districts such as Katy ISD, College Station ISD, Waller ISD, Lamar Consolidated ISD, Houston ISD, Cy-Fair ISD, Tomball ISD, and Clear Creek ISD. In addition, VLK has had long relationships with higher education clients such as Texas A&M University System, Texas State University System and the Lone Star College System.

“VLK Architect’s new office is a professional space that is perfect for continuing the great work that the firm has done for Lone Star College System and other clients over many years. ” said David Kaczinski,
Sr. Project Director at the Lone Star College System.

VLK’s new office is a beautifully designed 6425 sq. ft. open concept space that allows for improved collaboration among the project team members as well as providing space for the continued future expansion. To learn more about VLK Architects please visit www.vlkarchitects.com.
