m ARCHITECTS adds Project Manager

11/11/2016 | m ARCHITECTS

Megan Sheffy recently joined the m ARCHITECTS team as a Project Manager. In her role, she manages all phases of projects, including the day-to-day management, design and production of projects. Sheffy believes the collaboration with clients and consultants enriches the design process, creating a design that is much greater than any individual part. Problem solving is one of the most rewarding aspects of her approach to the architectural process- facing an incompatibility, assessing the alternatives and creating a solution that satisfies the uniqueness of the given project.

Sheffy is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York, with a Masters in Architecture from Rice University. She is currently working on several projects, including McCarthy Heavy Civil in east Houston, Texas Children’s Pediatrics & Urgent Care in the Heights, Baylor College of Medicine Lung Institute at O’Quinn Medical Tower and the Walker Engineering Warehouse and Parking Renovation. Prior to joining the firm, Sheffy worked on notable projects such as Levy Park in the Upper Kirby District and the Jungman Library.

Her interests include serving as a house chair on the RDA home tour, attending Dynamo games, jewelry metalsmithing, and volunteering with the photo team at Montgomery County Animal Shelter.
