Berger Iron Works Tour

Following ArCH's 2014 AIA Houston Artisan of the Year Exhibit, Berger Iron Works will be hosting a tour at its facilities on Thursday November 12 from 3:00-4:00 PM (1 hour). You are invited join their team for an insider's experience that will include a tour of their facility and the opportunity to learn about their design processes, tools, and fabrication systems.

**Registration is limited to 20 people. Online preregistration and payment required.**

Learning Objectives

Understand the steps required in the process from design drawings to estimating to shop drawing for custom steel fabrication.
Understand the cost implications of different steel connection systems.
Understand the cost implications and durability of different finishes.
Understand the fabrication process of standard metal tooling.
