Code Modernization

CODE ADOPTION

Our committee members participate in the City's Code Modernization process and help educate and inform AIA Houston members about upcoming code changes.

CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY COUNCIL (CIC)
A member of the advocacy committee sits on the Construction Industry Council (CIC). CIC is a number of organization in the construction industry that have come together to study and advise the Mayor and City Council of the City of Houston and any of its departments or committees in the area of codificationa.
