Kent Hedges

Senior Regional Project Manager, Universal Health Services (UHS)

Mr. Hedges is an experienced Senior Project Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital, health care and government industries. Kent is a Qualified Project Management Professional (PMP) with strong program and project management skills in Operations Management, Facility Management (FM), Contract Management, and Renewable Energy.  He currently serves as a Regional Project Manager for Design and Construction at  UHS, supporting all physical plant construction, renovation, restoration, and major repair programs at any facility associated with UHS operations.

Mandy Westerman, CEO, West Oaks Hospital

Mandy Westerman is moving into her third year as CEO of West Oaks Hospital. She has more than 15 years of experience in the mental health field. Formerly, she has held positions such as Director of Clinical Services as well as a Regional Crisis Team Supervisor.

Mandy is passionate about caring for the mental health population and encouraging her staff to provide the best patient-centered care. Mandy leads the way on various hospital improvements to elevate patient stays so hospital aesthetics match the top care and programming patients already receive. Mandy also seeks to elevate mental health programming with the help of her staff through alternative programming classes like yoga, pet therapy, music appreciation, and art appreciation. She is a strong advocate for leadership and team building. She encourages her team to mentor other mental health professionals in the community as well as students aspiring to be mental health professionals. Mandy belongs to the Network of Behavioral Health Providers and also serves on the Houston NAMI Board Advisory Committee.
Mandy received her Master of Social Work from the University of Tennessee in 2005 and has held her LCSW since 2011.
