2016 EMERGING VOICES EXHIBITION
The AIA Houston Young Architect’s Forum is organizing a curated exhibit of the work of the young architects of the Houston area. The exhibit is an opportunity for the young professionals of the Houston area to showcase their work (both architectural and non-architectural) to the Houston design community at large.
DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM
All AIA Houston member young architects (architects who have received licensure within the last 10 years) are invited to submit representations of their work. Architectural work, creative expressions and community involvement of all types are welcomed and encouraged. These submissions can be of varied media – including but not limited to: photography, sketches, watercolor, physical models, working drawings, and renderings. The exhibit will be juried and curated by leading Houston area architects and academics from diverse backgrounds and practices.
Application Period Begins DECEMBER 11, 2015
Application/Proposals due JANUARY 25, 2016

Exhibit Opening MAR 3
• Each individual may submit one application
• Registration form
• CV (1 page) Include contact information: name, address, phone number and email.
• Submit an overall narrative for your submission as a short bio for the exhibit
o Narrative should be Word format, not to exceed 500 words.
o Narrative can include community involvement and volunteering activities
• Submit jpeg images of work to be displayed (limit 4mb per image)
o If submitting 3D work (i.e.: physical models, sculpture, etc.), please provide digital images with supplemental text that outlines the dimensions. For large format art and/or photography, provide supplemental text of what the intended print size is to be.
